Mission Statement
Live in the Moment with Lisa uses a holistic approach to death and dying by empowering individuals and their families with end of life coaching
How my journey began
When I was in my first semester of nursing school my mother was very ill. I witnessed her actively dying and instantly felt that it wasn’t right. It felt too clinical and not natural. I felt unprepared and scared. I had an intuitive “knowing” that things could have gone much smoother and peaceful at that time. It was then that I realized my goal would be to bring peace and comfort to those at the end of life.
About Lisa
Lisa DiGesse
End of Life Coach and
Death Doula
Ever since Lisa was a little girl she felt a strong connection to people on a deep spiritual level; a connection fueled by love and compassion. She knew at a young age that she was destined to be a healer. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years. Seventeen of those years were spent in hospice and palliative care. She is a member of the Hospice and Palliative Care Federation of Massachusetts and she holds a certificate as a Death Doula.
What she has learned in this time is that everyone deserves to die peacefully, comfortably and with dignity. In her experience she has gained a wealth of knowledge of the dying and grieving process. She has been driven to educate and support the dying with a holistic approach. A passion to bring peace to those at the end of their life has been her true purpose and life path.
